Apfelböck Logistics Centre and Office Building Wallersdorf

Object description

The Apfelböck project in Wallersdorf, delivered by BREMER Stuttgart, comprised the construction of a logistics facility of approximately 60,000 m² together with a two-story office building of around 2,200 m². The warehouse is divided into several sections, all of which are equipped with mezzanine levels to provide additional operational and storage space.

A distinctive feature of the project is the design of the underfloor heating system, which is supplied by geothermal energy. The heating load calculation was carried out using a building energy simulation, resulting in significant energy savings and optimized system performance. The building was awarded a DGNB Multiple Certification in Platinum, reflecting its outstanding sustainability standards.

One section of the warehouse was specifically designed for the storage of hazardous materials and, at the tenant’s request, was equipped with a high-expansion foam fire suppression system. The remaining warehouse areas are protected by a conventional sprinkler system.

The project was completed within a 15-month construction period and was successfully handed over in February 2025.
