Centre of Excellence for Building Services Engineering
With around 20 staff in Chemnitz, supported by the team in Leipzig and new, modern premises in a converted textile factory, the site offers ideal conditions for innovative design and interdisciplinary collaboration. Thanks to its central location between Leipzig and Dresden, as well as its direct links to the A4 and A72 motorways, Chemnitz is strategically ideally positioned and primarily manages projects in the new federal states and beyond.
Strong roots, a clear role – the team behind the Chemnitz office
The Chemnitz office acts as a central centre of expertise for building services engineering (BSE) planning and brings together all relevant services, from business development through planning to the execution of construction projects. As BREMER’s largest unit in this field, the team also takes on overarching specialist management responsibilities. The work is characterised by a spirit of partnership, flat hierarchies and close collaboration with partners such as the Saxony Cooperative State University in Glauchau. The open, communicative corporate culture, together with the opportunity to play an active role in shaping the site, make Chemnitz an attractive place to work.
Expertise that makes a difference
The focus is on the design of building services using state-of-the-art software and BIM-based 3D models. In addition, the team supports turnkey project acquisition and implementation on construction sites. The portfolio covers all areas of commercial construction – from logistics centres and production facilities to office buildings and cold stores. Projects managed include those for well-known clients such as DHL and Kühne + Nagel, as well as regional flagship projects. The site is one of the key contributors in the field of building services engineering and plays a significant role in the company’s success.
Moving forward together
The approach in Chemnitz is interdisciplinary, based on partnership and characterised by a strong sense of ‘we’. Innovation and digitalisation play a central role in meeting the growing demands of building services engineering and in developing efficient solutions for turnkey construction. Sustainability is being implemented at the site through measures such as electric mobility. The aim is to achieve continuous growth and to further expand in-house building services expertise, so that we can provide our customers with even more comprehensive, one-stop support in future.
