Object description
The logistics warehouse was constructed on a 10-hectare site located approximately 5 km from the city center of Leipzig. The warehouse and office areas are divided into three sections by two fire walls. The central section features 23 loading bays on both the front and rear sides.
The structural frame consists of a precast reinforced concrete construction with a column grid of 24 × 12 m (360 columns, 228 roof girders, and 900 purlins). The façade is constructed of reinforced concrete sandwich panels up to a height of 2.5 m. Above this level, the façade is designed as an insulated cassette wall system with vertically oriented trapezoidal metal cladding. ISO wall systems are used in the office areas.
The roof structure consists of steel trapezoidal decking with thermal insulation and a membrane waterproofing system. A siphonic drainage system was selected for rainwater disposal.
A distinctive architectural feature is the entrance area, highlighted by an external stair tower and a steel truss bridge (approximately 32 m long) providing access to the office areas.
