Object description

Lidl's new logistics center is being built in the immediate vicinity of the BAB 7 motorway at the Dettingen an der Iller exit. Access to the logistics center is via an upstream truck parking area from which the corresponding loading gate is approached via a gatehouse. The incoming goods area is located on the eastern side of the building and the outgoing goods area on the western side. The logistics center itself is divided into different storage areas for the entire Lidl product range. The individual areas are temperature-controlled from -24°C to +17°C depending on the goods in stock. In various areas there are smaller office installations from which the incoming and outgoing goods of the respective area are controlled. The administration of the logistics center is located in a 2-storey office annex, which is connected to the eastern side of the hall.
