Object description

The logistics building is located in the backfill area of a former opencast lignite mine. In order to achieve sufficient load-bearing capacity, ground improvement measures and special foundation engineering measures are required. The logistics building has a total size of 11,900m² gross floor area, of which approx. 950m² is a deep-freeze hall and approx. 550m² is a refrigerated hall. The logistics center is accessed via a deep truck yard with 27 delivery gates with dock levellers, 3 load houses and a covered loading ramp measuring around 950m².

A 2-storey office and social building with a gross floor area of approx. 870 m² is located next to the logistics building. This building houses the administration as well as the break and social rooms for the industrial employees.
