B OFFICE office building in Bochum

Object description

At MARK 51°7, the innovation district developed on the site of the former Opel plant in Bochum, BREMER Rhein-Ruhr is constructing a five-storey office building. The project, known as B OFFICE, was developed by BREMER Project Development.

The modern office building stands out with its high-quality white concrete façade and the use of TT floor slabs, a new system developed by BREMER. These particularly slender structural elements enable a resource-efficient construction method and make a significant contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions.

A geothermal system supplies highly efficient heat pumps for indoor climate control. Floor-to-ceiling windows with intelligently controlled ventilation panels automatically regulate CO₂ levels and indoor air temperature. Electricity generated on site is used directly within the building, providing additional support for sustainable operations.
