Fiege Logistics Centre Bremen

Object description

The logistics center is located on Ludwig-Erhardt-Straße in the Freight Village (GVZ) in Bremen. It features a storage area of 37,000 m² spread across four halls. The shell construction is a precast reinforced concrete structure with a column grid of 24.80 m x 18 m and 18.60 m x 18 m (approximately 250 columns, 350 roof girders, 60 supporting beams). The building itself consists of a precast reinforced concrete structure with steel trapezoidal sheets and a hard roof. The facade combines precast concrete elements with a steel cassette wall.

The logistics area of the building is designed for “Nanu Nana” Einkaufs- und Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH from Oldenburg. The distinctive building entrance, leading to the 900 m² administrative area, is architecturally highlighted by an exposed aggregate concrete facade with a broken basalt finish.
