Object description

Aliaxis is a leading provider of advanced plastic pipe systems for building construction, civil engineering, industrial applications, and agriculture. BREMER Süd is constructing a new, modern, and sustainable production hall with an attached office building for Aliaxis at their Mannheim location.

The approximately 3,500 m² production hall will be equipped with a large-scale photovoltaic system for power generation. Sustainable rainwater retention will be achieved through a retention green roof.

Special features

A special feature of the new building, which covers approximately 3,400 m², is its overhead crane runway system equipped with double-girder bridge cranes. Another notable feature is the air handling system (HVAC system), designed to manage exceptionally large supply and exhaust air volumes. The system circulates air at an impressive flow rate of 143,000 m³ per hour.

The production facility also stands out in terms of sustainability. A large-scale photovoltaic system installed on the roof generates renewable electricity, while a sustainable retention green roof provides effective rainwater management by temporarily storing and regulating stormwater runoff.
