Object description
The FRICKE Group is one of Germany’s largest privately owned groups of companies in the agricultural machinery sector. To enable even faster and more efficient service for customers in France, Switzerland, Austria and Southern Germany in the future, a new logistics centre has been developed in Tholey, Saarland.
The facility comprises, among other features, an automated small-parts warehouse built in silo construction, a multifunctional warehouse and a hazardous materials warehouse with an explosion-protected area, including a gas detection system and foam fire suppression system. As such, the facility meets the highest standards for efficient logistics processes.
The photovoltaic system, with a total installed capacity of 660 kWp, was delivered by our subsidiary BREMER greentech.
Heating is provided by three heat pumps, while each area is equipped with its own dedicated ventilation unit.
This modern, high-performance location not only impresses architecturally but also provides the foundation for FRICKE’s highly automated intralogistics operations of the future.
From the very outset, BREMER designed the logistics centre with future expansion in mind, ensuring that it can be extended in all directions as requirements evolve.
