Object description
Langness is building its first deep-freeze warehouse next to its existing fresh food logistics center in Neumünster. The deep-freeze warehouse consists of the delivery yard, the docking stations as front loading locks, a refrigerated pre-loading zone, the deep-freeze staging area and the deep-freeze warehouse as a high-bay warehouse. The first floor also houses the incoming goods office and the forklift loading station. The technical rooms and social rooms are located on the upper floor. The deep-freeze warehouse is built with an external insulation level. Floor insulation with a thickness of 36 cm is provided to minimize operating costs. The 22cm-thick façade panels are mounted in the deep-freeze area using agraffes. The staging area and cooled pre-zone will have an isopanel suspended ceiling. The warehouse is designed for an operating temperature of -24°C. An extension is already being planned on the south-west side.
