Object description
BREMER AG is building a new logistics center for the developer Amazon at the Horn-Bad Meinberg location.
The building will cover an area of approximately 51,280m2, on which a state-of-the-art logistics center with 4 levels will be created. Products will be stored there and office and social areas will be available for employees. The latest technology is used in the logistics center. Very specifically: transport robots that drive mobile shelves to employees in the storage and retrieval of goods. This reduces walking distances. The site will have 791 parking spaces for employees, 74 of which will be equipped with electric charging stations. Furthermore, 80 bicycle parking spaces and around 220 truck parking spaces will be created, including 20 buffer parking spaces for trucks that arrive too early. To enable employees to connect to local public transport, two bus stops are planned for the building.
During construction, the latest environmental standards in terms of energy efficiency and the responsible use of resources are used. For example, a photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof of the site. Amazon has also applied for gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
