Innstolz cold storage logistics centre and office building in Deggendorf

Object description

BREMER Süd GmbH is constructing a state-of-the-art cold storage logistics centre with an integrated office building for Innstolz in Deggendorf. The project comprises approximately 8,100 m² of logistics space, 1,050 m² of office space, and 12,100 m² of external facilities, setting new benchmarks in the food industry. The shell construction has already been completed, with project completion scheduled for 2026.

The facility is being built in accordance with the stringent requirements of the International Featured Standards (IFS) and will provide cutting-edge solutions for food storage and logistics. A key feature is the deep-freeze warehouse capable of maintaining temperatures of up to -22°C, whose outer envelope also serves as the building’s façade system. This ensures maximum efficiency and hygiene, including sealed joints that facilitate cleaning and protect against rodent ingress.

The project also demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability. Photovoltaic systems on the warehouse roof (to be installed by the client) will supply a significant proportion of the facility’s future energy needs. These will be complemented by a green roof and green façades, which enhance the microclimate, promote biodiversity, and contribute to natural thermal insulation. The concept is further supported by state-of-the-art refrigeration technology and intelligent control systems.
