Noerpel logistics centre Villingen-Schwenningen

Object description

The project for the NOERPEL Group comprised the turnkey construction of a modern logistics facility consisting of a high-performance cross-dock terminal with two fire compartments and a three-storey office building serving as the head office structure. In addition, extensive external works were delivered, including car parking spaces, an HGV waiting area, storage areas for trailers and swap bodies, and two sunken loading yards extending along the entire length of the terminal.

The facility meets demanding safety and environmental protection requirements, particularly for the handling of water-polluting substances. To address these requirements, both loading yards were equipped with structural fire-fighting water retention systems, connected via a bypass system that enables shared water retention capacity. The office building was fitted with modern building services systems, including heat pumps, split air-conditioning units and an air handling unit (AHU). The warehouse roof was designed as a green roof and prepared for the installation of a client-provided photovoltaic system.

The project was delivered by BREMER Stuttgart GmbH, now BREMER Süd GmbH, within a short and efficient construction period of approximately 10.5 months. The facility was completed on schedule in February 2023.
