Palmira Development production and logistics facility with office space for KTX GmbH

Object description

On behalf of Palmira Development, BREMER Süd GmbH's Ingolstadt branch is developing a state-of-the-art production and logistics facility in Weißenburg for KTX GmbH, an internationally operating company in the automotive industry.

The building will provide a total floor area of 20,545 m², combining production, logistics and office space (mezzanine level). A key feature of the project is its energy concept: waste heat generated during production will be utilised to heat the building. In addition, a DGNB Gold certification is being sought, ensuring compliance with the highest ESG standards.

The facility is being constructed on a site covering approximately 33,300 m². The external works comprise around 14,000 m², and approximately 30,000 linear metres of CMC columns will be installed to improve the ground conditions. In total, around 640 precast concrete elements will be used in the construction.

Special features

A particular highlight is the Early Access Unit, which will be made available for production as early as 1 April 2026. Full completion of the facility is scheduled for September 2026.

This project will create a forward-looking site for the development and manufacture of high-quality plastic components for interior and exterior automotive applications.
