Object description

The wholesale company Wilhelm Gienger is expanding its existing logistics building in Kornwestheim by adding another hall with an integrated four-storey wing for offices and social rooms. As one of the leading specialist wholesalers for building services, the client attaches particular importance to modern building technology that meets the highest ecological and economic standards. This includes heating the offices using air-to-water heat pumps and heating/cooling ceilings for the office areas. The entire roof area is covered with greenery. A photovoltaic system with an output of 150 kWp is planned on the roof of the administrative wing, which will supply the complex with self-generated energy. The façades of the administration area are clad with concrete sandwich elements. The hall has an ISO sandwich façade.
